#9 – Tim Westerfield Jr. Modified Feature

Opening Day at Midvale Speedway was a chance for a fresh start for every team that rolled in that day.  But unfortunately for many of the modified division teams, it would also be their first chance to fix some sheet metal.  Spins and hard racing led to contact and carnage, including two examples from Tim Westerfield Jr.’s Ride Along camera.  All drivers were OK in both incidents.

Three extended-distance Feature races were held at Lake County Speedway on Sunday.  In total, Econo Mods, Factory Fours, and Pro Stocks ran 225 laps around the Painesville, OH 1/5 mile oval.  NEO Racing News had Ride Along cameras on three drivers: #37 T.J. Stineman (Econo Mod), #2 Jeff Bates (Factory Four), and #5 Chris Hamilton (Pro Stock).  Keep reading after the break for their three videos, which are edited to remove cautions.
