MSA Supermodifieds and Main Event Racing Series Late Models returned to Sandusky Speedway this weekend after being rained out last week. Saturday’s show also included Hobby Stocks and Street Stocks. Winners from last night include (MSA) #19 Trent Stephens, (MERS) #116 Jack Varney Jr., (Street Stock) #07 Justin Hamilton, and (Hobby Stock) #4 John McKee. More pictures after the break. Racing Around NEO: Almost Memorial Day Weekend Edition
The weather is looking great for this weekend, which is full of racing! Whether you are looking for weekly racing for touring action, it’s all in Northeast Ohio this weekend.
Highlights include ARCA at Toledo Speedway, the Cavalcade of Stars at Summit Motorsports Park, and Sandusky’s return of the MSA Supermodifieds and Main Event Racing Series. Midvale Speedway Will See MERS, Supermods, Stock Cars
Midvale Speedway has released its full 2013 schedule, guaranteeing that New Philadelphia asphalt fans will have plenty to see this summer.
Several regional touring series will stop by the three-tenths mile speedway. The Midwest Supermodified Association is visiting twice in 2013…once in June and again in August. Kicking off the Fourth of July “long weekend” in style, the Main Event Racing Series will bring their Super Late Models for a special Wednesday night race. Sandusky Speedway Schedule Posted
Sandusky Speedway got a jump on the field this week, announcing their 2013 schedule for fans and drivers alike.
The track’s season is kicking off on May 4th with the Buckeye Super Sprints and features 17 weeks of racing among 10 divisions. Other touring series making a visit include the International Supermodified Association (ISMA), Main Event Racing Series Late Models, MSA Supermodifieds, AVSS 410 Sprints, VROA Modifieds, and Top Speed Modifieds.
