Toledo Speedway race fans will have another busy racing season in 2013.
Combining forces to start the track’s season, April 20th will see the ARCA CRA Super Series and ARCA Midwest Tours in one race. In May, the ARCA Racing Series and ARCA Trucks will descend on Toledo for Menards 200 weekend. You can check out both series on May 18th and 19th. Also making three stops is the ARCA Late Model Gold Cup. You can see that series in May, July, and August.
Past ARCA, several other touring series will visit Toledo. The MSA Supermodifieds and Auto Value Super Sprints join forces for the “Fastest Short Track Show in the World” on June 14th. Top Speed Modifieds take to the track on August 2nd, and the Main Event Late Model Series joins the ARCA Gold Cup race on August 16th. Rounding out the special race season for Toledo Speedway is the Glass City 200, which will run for the 25th time on September 28th.
Weekly racing runs throughout the year starting May 4th and will feature four divisions of racing: Sportsman, Figure Eight, X Car, and Four Cylinder. Weekly racing is every Friday night throughout the summer. X Cars and Figure Eight cars compete for their championship on August 16th, while the Sportsmen Championship is on August 30th. Special events will also be part of 2013, including a Monster Truck show on July 20th. Fans will also have two chances to catch a “Night of Destruction”, or six chances to try the Rusty Wallace Racing Experience.
Toledo Speedway has been added to the NEO Racing News Master Calendar, but always remember to check the track’s website for more detailed information.
