Attica Raceway Park is planning to celebrate its “Silver Anniversary” in style this year, with plans to bring six touring series in 2013.
The 25 year old track will feature three late model tours, two sprint tours, and one modified tour. UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions will be the first major touring series to stop by, featuring two days of racing on March 29th and 30th. The All Star Sprints will end up visiting Attica a total of five times this year. Making a late March appearance is the American Late Model Series, which can be witnessed April 26th. World of Outlaw Sprints invade the track Friday, May 31st for a $10,000 to win race. Later, the DirtCar Summer Nationals “Hell Tour” brings late models and modifieds on Friday, July 19th. The fifth series to appear is the Lucas Oil Late Model tour, which pairs up with the All Star Sprints on Friday, August 30th.
Attica will also be hosting four weekly divisions of racing: 410 Sprints, UMP Late Models, 305 Sprints, and Dirt Trucks. Both sprint car divisions will also have designated Fremont Attica Sprint Title series races mixed throughout the schedule. The track plans to celebrate its birthday on Friday, May 17th with the Eric Phillips Classic, which will feature twin 410 Sprint features of 25 laps. The winner of each race will take $2,500 to the bank.
